This body of work, composed of wood and nails, centers around a fundamental yet often misunderstood theme: sacrifice. Rather than portraying it as something burdensome or negative, I aim to highlight the powerful, positive dimension of what it means to give something up for a greater purpose.
Every meaningful pursuit in life requires a certain sacrifice. A fulfilling career demands time, energy, and often comfort. A healthy, thriving family calls for patience, dedication, and sometimes the setting aside of personal desires. Even a strong, balanced body is the result of discipline, effort, and perseverance. Yet none of these sacrifices are in vain—they pave the way toward joy, fulfillment, and a deeply rooted sense of purpose.
We live in a generation where things are quickly discarded and replaced rather than repaired and nurtured. With this collection, I want to draw attention to the value of going the extra mile, of committing ourselves to something long enough to see it bloom. It’s a tribute to resilience, devotion, and the quiet beauty of enduring effort.

Diese Kunstwerksammlung aus Holz und Nägeln widmet sich einem zentralen, oft unterschätzten Thema unseres Lebens: dem Opfer. Doch statt es als Last oder Verzicht zu begreifen, möchte ich den Blick auf die kraftvolle, positive Seite der Opferbereitschaft lenken.
Jede Entscheidung im Leben fordert ihren Preis. Wer eine erfüllende Karriere anstrebt, investiert Zeit, Energie und oftmals Komfort. Wer eine gesunde Familie aufbauen möchte, bringt Geduld, Hingabe und manchmal auch persönliche Wünsche dar. Selbst ein gesunder Körper verlangt Disziplin und Verzicht.
